Obituary of Sarah Elizabeth Atlas

Passed away on October 21, 2016 at 97 years old. Predeceased by husband, Samuel; parents, Jonas & Tilly Chernow; brothers, Dr. Abraham, Dr. Jack & Lester Chernow. Survived by loving children, Louis Atlas, Tobie (Peter Corbett) Atlas & Richard A. Cushman; grandchildren, Alisha, Noah, Zoe & Olivia. Bess was know in the world of Rochester Theatre as an actress, director and playwright. In her later years, she returned to NYC, her childhood home and favorite city. Funeral services will be held on WEDNESDAY, 12 NOON at Brighton Memorial Chapel (3325 Winton Rd S). Interment, Britton Rd Cemetery.
