Jack and I were good friends in 9th grade, we visited at each others house and took Spanish classes together. He introduced me to Jewish rituals/culture. Lost track of him and then we reconnected more than 40 years later about a year before he died when he sent me a copy of his book (that I was in!). He told me at the time he was in remission….So sad to hear that he passed, he was a great guy who left the world a little better

I'm so sorry to hear Mr.Rodney passed away 2yrs. ago. I'm one of his student back in 87'.He was a very nice teacher, always very helpful,because of him I enjoyed reading books and still do .Again sorry for your loss, I just found out by a friend on facebook...

I'm heartbroken to hear of Mr. Rodney's death, he was my 7th grade English and yearbook teacher. I was a troubled kid, and he took the extra time to treat me kindly and through the years that kindness has still stuck with me. He was a sweet and wonderful person.

The family will receive friends at 295 Rhinecliff Dr. in Brighton on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Friday from 2-4 PM and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Minyan Services will be at 7 PM Thursday & Sunday evenings.
