Bessie Kopen (Samuels) Passed away on November 22, 2014, at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander Kopen, parents, Tibie & Israel Samuels; sister, Sara Jacobs; daughter, Hasse Halley; son, Seymour Kopen, great-grandson, Aaron Simcha Halley. Survived by her loving daughter, Soralee (Marvin) Cook; brother, David Samuels; sister, Cecil Wolfson; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Kopen; son-in-law, Stephen R. Halley; grandchildren, Michael (Beth) Cook, Caren Cook (Michael) Lipsey, Neil (Lisa) Cook, Heidi (Steven) Zimmerman, Nancy Kopen, Wendy (Harry) Lane, Craig Halley, Adam (Wendy) Halley, David Halley, Elizabeth (Phil Goff) Halley & Ben-Israel (Amy) Halley; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & dear friends. The family would like to thank Wolk Manor & the dedicated staff of Floor 4 SW of the Jewish Home. Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY at 10 AM at Temple Beth El located at 139 Winton Road South.
