Obituary of Abraham H. Zakofsky

Zakofsky, Abraham H. "Abe" Passed away, February 12, 2006, at age 82. Predeceased by son, Wayne sister, Leah and brother, Sam Zackor. He is survived by his wife, Rose children, Marlene (Alan) Witten of Framingham, MA., Marsha Zakofsky, Paula (Allen) Bernstein grandchildren, Susan Parris, Robyn Merritt, Adam Witten, Laura Wing, Andrea Zakofsky, Jessica Metzger, Melissa Kieffer, Andrew Bernstein great-grandchildren, Brody, Hannah, Isaac, Max and Jasper sister, Belle (Sol) Goldstein. Abe was a great participator in life, was past Chancellor Commander of the Knights of Pythias with 40 years of service. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling and golf. He was a WW II Veteran. His beloved wife and family will miss him dearly. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 14 at 2PM in the Main Sanctuary at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Rabbi Matthew Field Officiating. Interment Britton Road Cemetery. Following the Funeral a period of mourning will be observed at 330 Viennawood Dr., Tuesday 7-9 PM & Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 PM.
