Ettie was a wonderful person. I visited her and Philip twice about 10 years ago, and they were kind and generous with their time and knowledge. They helped build out their branch of the family tree (I'm a distant cousin of Ettie), loaned photos that I scanned, and shared insights and, more important, their time. May Ettie's name and Phillip's name be a blessing, and may G-d comfort their family.
