Obituary of Ernest K. France

Ernest K. France Passed away on June 11, 2013 at 89. Predeceased by his daughter, Barbara Lynn France & brother, Harold. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mildred; devoted daughter, Susan; sons-in-law, Michael Gorman, Jim Hettinger; grandchildren, Matthew & Danny Gorman & Jessica Hettinger; sister, Anita (Conrad) Sabin & nieces & nephews. Ernie was in the shoe business since the age of 17, most recently retiring from the Foot Performance Center. He will fondly be remembered as the "Old Shoe Dog." He also had a passion for stained glass, which was featured around town. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11 AM in the Benjamin Goldstein Chapel of Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave. Click here for directions to the temple.
