Joanie and family,
I was very sorry to hear of your recent loss. I didn't know your Mom, but recall seeing her at Temple with you, and it was very clear how connected you were to each other. She always looked so "put together" like a real lady.
My friend Eva Zweifler knew your Mom from Brookdale (the Gables) and mentioned without knowing I knew you, how sad she was to hear your Mom had died. She loved her, and your Mom made her visits to Brookdale much pleasanter- since her Mom is really not well. You never know how people help and touch one another.
Please know you are in my thoughts.

Having recently learned of the loss of your loved one , I extend my deepest sympathy to you. During this difficult time I wanted to share the hope found in the Bible, the hope of the resurrection. Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus] voice and come out." And at Revelation 21:3,4 it states that there will be a time when "death will be no more." Sorry for your loss.

Joan, I was so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I always enjoyed hearing how she knew my parents. Also her welcoming manner at temple. She was a great worker for the temple and I worked with her many times. May your memories help you through this sad time

Joan & Jonathan,
So sorry to hear about Gladys's passing. My memory of your mother is from Beth David Shabbat services, kiddushes, as well as from Sisterhood meetings. She was always so warm and friendly to me and my husband. She worked very hard for the synagogue and was a real mover and shaker. May she rest in peace. I hope all of your fond memories will help you to get through this sad time.
