I was lucky enough to meet Norma years ago through my grandmother. They were friends from way back when, new each other from Florida. After my grandmother passed away, Norma became a sort of adoptive grandmother figure. Going out to breakfast at the Charbroil, walking around Wegmans, and getting the, "when are you going to get serious and get a real job".
She's a great women, very strong and stubborn in the best way. So caring. My heart goes out to you all. I apologize for not being able to attend the grave site service or Shiva. Although I wanted to attend, I know Norma would have been upset to learn that I missed work to come up. She would be more upset to learn that I decided to fool around as a canopy tour/zip line guide and not pursue something more stable or real. But thats a different argument and something we talked about. What I wanted to do and what I should do.
To Norma, a truly great women. She will be missed.
Cheers Norma. Rest in peace.
