Dear Florence and Steven,
So sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. She always reliably exhibited her affectionate love, and caring. I hope you can find some degree of comfort in knowing that she will live on in the memories of myself and all who knew her, as it has been well said: "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."

dearest florence, steven and family -
I am soooooo very devastated to hear this sad news. my darling, precious, longtime special wise & gorgeous woman! I was sooooo blessed to have you in my life, albeit long distance these last years. I looked forward to hearing the latest spunky adventures that were going on in your life - full of sparkle, zest & a great attitude! although all slows down, my mind hasn't, thank goodness, and yes, as your daughter Florence states, you looked at life thru a special lens, and that lens was well focused so much of the time.
Rest in peace, my sweet friend, and know that we all luv you very much...
samm (geo too!)

Florence and Steven,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Aunt Janis while we were growing up. She always made me smile and always added sparkle and vitality when she was present. I was just looking at old photographs with my sister Lisa. It brought back memories of the jewish holidays at Aunt Sarah's house and parties at Light of Israel.
I am sending a warm hug to you and prayers of healing.....
with love and sadness,
Jackie

Dear Elaine and James
I am so sorry to learn of Janis's passing. I have been thinking all day about the early years of our shared youth . Hebrew School at Beth Joseph Center , # 8 school , and Benjamin Franklin. I recall that Arthur always sat with my father and brothers for the high holidays.
In recent years , Brad and I moved to Tobey court , where we would often talk with your mother as she would be taking her daily walk. She loved recalling all of you with warmth and love.
Janis was a sweet and loving women who radiated her beauty to all who knew her.. Brad joins me in expressing our sincere condolences.
