I am stunned and devastated at the loss of such a wonderful, vibrant, mensch of a human being. Dave has been so gravely ill for such a long time, yet almost never showing it, that we all hoped and prayed that this day would never come, and that Uncle Dave would somehow continue to beat the odds. Sometimes, it was hard to even remember he was ill.
My many memories of Dave will stay with me forever. From meeting for the first time by driving together to see Steely Dan at SPAC, to the outrageous disco party in the parking lot after the Dead show in Highgate, we shared so many experiences. I love you Dave, rock on for eternity, and you will be in our hearts for ever more.,
