Obituary of Elise R. Lestin [Rosenbaum] Ed. D

Our beloved “Meesee” passed away on February 25, 2015 at age 86 from complications of Alzheimer’s. An educator, assistant school district superintendent, and an accomplished harpist who performed at Carnegie Hall, Dr. Lestin was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles B. Lestin, and parents, Shirley and Jack Rosenbaum. She is survived by daughter, Marti (Burt) Kleinman; son Eric (Jani) Lestin; grandchildren, Jill (Gabe) Pritz, David (Jill) Kleinman, Jon (Stephanie) Kleinman, Abby & Lauren Lestin; great-grandchildren Isabel & Max Kleinman; brother Richard (Judy) Rosenbaum and sister-in-law Miriam (Sol) Ahitow; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
