Obituary of Lauren R. Wexler

Lauren R. Wexler Brighton: March 1, 2010 at age 54. Predeceased by her father, Sol Wexler. Survived by her loving mother, Ruth Wexler; brother Ron (Rachel Rosen) Wexler; nephew, Jesse Ellis-Wexler; and extended family Itiya (Pinney) Wolman, Naf (Anna) Hanau, Ahuva and Shira Hanau. Lauren had B.A. degrees in Journalism and Psychology from Indiana University. She always maintained a positive outlook, taking pride in having had her “dream job”. Laurie always said how grateful she was for the people and experiences in her life in spite of the disability and adversity she encountered. Her friends described her as kind and thoughtful. Her nieces and nephews knew that she was Aunt Extraordinaire. Interment was held in Hillside, IL. The family will observe a period of mourning at 15 Chadbourne Road on Saturday, March 6th from 7-9 PM & Sunday, March 7th from 1-5 & 7-9 PM. Click here for directions to the house of mourning.
