My sincerest condolences to the family. I worked with Rosie at Hickock Manuf. back around 1969. She sat at the desk next to mine. I was just a kid at 18 and Rosie "showed me the ropes". We’d take turns getting each other awful coffee from the machine and I’d watch her, each and every morning at break, as she’d write her Son (I’m guessing Wayne) a little letter to send to him in the Army – this was during Viet Nam. And to each letter, she’d staple a one dollar bill, fold it up and seal it with a Mother’s kiss. She was like a second mother to me and I will always think of her fondly. Those dark eyes and that flaming red lipstick will always bring a smile to my face. She was much loved.
