Obituary of Martin A. Silber

Rochester: On March 24, 2010 at age 78. Predeceased by his brother, Robert Silber. Survived by his wife Marcia; son, Michael (Nancy Berg); daughters, Harriet (Ronald) Blitstein & Amy (Mark Geiter) Silber; grandchildren, Lauren, Brian & Andrew Taplenger, Leah Blitstein, Jacob, Alana & Audrey Silber, Amanda & Nicholas Geiter. Marty moved to Rochester in 1948 where he shared his life with his adoring wife Marcia, and practiced pharmacy, for over 50 years. He lived for the love & companionship of his children & many grandchildren. Marty lived joyfully & loved generously. We will miss you, Poppy! Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10 AM at Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Avenue). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. A period of mourning will be observed Friday, 2-4 PM, Saturday 7-9 PM & Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 PM at 96 Pelham Road, Rochester, 14610.
