Dear Mr. Calarco, David, Renee and Joe,
It has been a great honor to have known your mom and wife Norma.
I am so very sad today as I think of how fast she left us...she left all of us an everlasting trail of love and kindness.
I remember vividly how proud she was of Joe at this winter's reading of his new play at GEVA.
Norma has always been so kind to me. In the 80's she attended productions at our alternative theatre space STUDIO 14, and she sat in the audience at the Main Street Playhouse cheering us all on as the first community theatre to produce A Chorus Line. Always with a kind word and encouraging hugs.
After all most 20 years of not seeing her, she welcomed me home with open arms and an embrace I'll never forget.
One testimony of her life I will carry with me; is how much she cherished her children and how proud she was of them and her grand kids. Celebrating every step of the way. Norma Calarco will hold a special spot in my heart forever....as I cheer my son on in his life...I will remember how she did so with her children...
Bless you all at this time...not even death can take away the memories and LOVE bestowed on all of us lucky enough to know Norma.

I first met Norma during the days of the original Nunsense at the Downstairs Cabaret in the mid 80's. She was always warm, welcoming and motherly. She was always there for her kids at every turn and made all of us performers feel her wonderful loving support. Whenever I think of those days at the Cabaret, I always think of Norma first and foremost. What a wonderful thing.

After being friends with Renee for 14 years, I met her mother Norma last year, and was struck by her kindness and her wit. Renee is one of the kindest people I know, and I'm sure a lot of that comes from Norma. I am so sorry for the family's loss, and I hope you find comfort in your memories and in the loving support of friends at this time. Baruch dayan haemet.

I wrote here yesterday, but I've been thinking about Norma all day with such fond memories.
I grew up on Barry Rd., 330 to be exact, and Norma and I used to meet "in the middle" between her home and mine, walk, talk, laugh. She was such a good friend!

Dear Al,David, Renee, Joe & family: I am so very sad to learn of the passing of your wonderful wife and mother Norma. I had the pleasure of working with her at the law office of Suher, Heller & Sickelco. Norma was a so fun to work with and she always shared stories of her family of whom she was so proud. Even after leaving the law office, I often thought of Norma. She was a very special person who always made me laugh and smile. I will truly miss her. May she rest in peace.

Dear Calarco Family,
Your sweet wife and mother will be missed by many. We share your grief. Norma has been a loyal friend to Jim and I for many years. How sad it is knowing I won't hear her voice when I call the office. She loved her family dearly and took great delight in sharing stories about her precious grandchildren. She was so proud of her family. God bless you as you mourn the loss of your beautiful wife and mother.
