Obituary of Julia Winterman

Julia Winterman Passed away on May 28, 2015 at 87 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard; parents, Regina & Jack Alazraki; brother Abe. She is survived by her children, Randi, Karen (Glen Moscoe), James (Mimi) & Richard (Brenda); grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren & Rafael Moscoe, Jacob, Joshua, Bruno & Griffin Winterman. She had a strong community of lifelong friends & relatives. A special thank you to Susan Calderon for her friendship, kindness & bingo prowess along with the staff on 3 SW of the Jewish Home & 4 West of Highland Hospital. Whether you knew her as Julia, Julie, Junie or Jules, you knew she had a contagious laugh and was a sharp dresser who loved to socialize with family & friends. Although most of her conversations were hard to understand as of late, she clearly summed up her feelings in these final words that she spoke: We came We shared We honored We're done Now go home. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. S.). Click here for directions to the funeral home.
