Raymond, I wish I knew you better in your heathier days. But I enjoyed the time that we did spend together.
Cindy and I were looking forward to fishing with you during the two weeks in June that I rented a cottage on Conesus lake with Cindy.
We would have made some fishing memories together and caught some fish as well.
You are related to my Dad in many ways. In fact, I asked my father to greet you at heaven's gate. He has been there for 15 years. If he had lived up tll now, he would have been 89 this last February.
You were so similar and related in the following ways:
1. You were both named Raymond.
2. You both were fisherman. My Dad fished in Western New York, the Finger Lakes, Key Largo and Isle Lamarda. He ever caught an octpus in Key Largo and hauled it into the boat. Then, how do we get rid of it Dad? He loved to teach and fish with his grand chldren both in the Western New York area and in the Florida Keys.
3. You were in the Navy and my Dad was in the Marines ( a part of the Navy) in WWII.
4. You both were devoted to your families and their well being.
5. You both loved to take your families on vacations.
6.You both loved to golf.
7. You both would have been friends.
Raymond, look after Jeanie, Cindy, Scott, Greg and their children.
Let them know that you are there for them in spirit just as you were in the human world. I will take care of Cindy.
Until we meet again, I won't say goodbye just that I'll see you later.
