Obituary of Cookie Kaplan

Sondra N. "Cookie" Kaplan (Yaffee) Passed away peacefully August 20, 2014 at age 73. Predeceased by her husband of 41 years, E. Barry Kaplan; parents, Irving and Ceil Yaffee; brother, Ronald Yaffee; brother-in law, Fred Bennes; and niece Sarah Whiting. She is survived by her children, Stacy (Rick) Wood, Howard (Andrea) Kaplan, Carin (Russ) Fradin; grandchildren, Sydney & Jake Wood and Whitney Hannah, Samantha & Barry Kaplan, Henry, Roger & Paige Fradin; great grandchild, Adrianne Hannah; sister, Carol Silberstein; beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces; and many, many devoted friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, both new and old, and her energy and joy of life will be missed greatly by all. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 1:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Temple B’rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14618). Click here for directions to the temple.
