I have wonderful memories of my relationship with Freda during my years at Temple Beth David. She was always there as a mentor - both she and Julie - to me and my young family, for the 32 years I lived in Rochester. A true woman of valor, her life was "truly a blessing."
The Bergers were a part of our Rawlinson Rd community. I have wonderful memories of Freda always walking somewhere and working at Sibley's. So happy to know she had a long and happy life after she moved.

I also would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Berger family. I also was a neighbor on Rawlinson Road in Irondequoit and grew up with Michael many many years ago..
Freda & Julie were two of my favorite people. We were neighbors for many, many years on Rawlinson Road where we would play in the street until dark. My heart goes out to your family but what a miracle that she had such a good quality of life until the very end at 99. Wow!!!
