This message is for Kaleen Litvak. Do you remember Loretta Goldzweig? I am her daughter, Sharon, and I don't know why I caught your name in the memorial for a woman I probably never met, but maybe God wants you to be able to share your grief with my mother. We lost my father, Lenny, last June (on Father's Day, no less) and she is still grieving mightily. I know that this is a dark time in your life as well, but I thought it might lighten both your hearts a little if you rekindled your friendship. Mom still lives in Michigan. I am not sure where you are living, or what's going on in your life, but please feel free to email me---or Mom---she's just entered the world of the internet and would probably be very surprised and pleased to get a note from you. I haven't told her anything about finding you, because I don't even know if you want to be found! You have my email above, and I will give you hers if you'd like to communicate with her directly:

In case you are having a complete disremembrance of my parents, you all went to Temple Beth Am in Henrietta together. You came to my brother's Bar Mitzvah in 1970. They moved to Michigan because my father got a job with Ford.
I am truly sorry that you lost a parent as well this year. Your mother certainly lived a wonderfully long life! I hope it was a happy and fruitful one. Take care and perhaps a friendship will be rekindled as a result of seeing the obituary in the Rochester paper.
Sincerely,
Sharon Madison
