Obituary of Richard G. Peres

February 7, 2017 a week shy of his 88th birthday. Predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara & brother, David "Buddy" Peres. He is survived by his loving children, Michael (Laurie) Peres, Abbe Peres, & Dr. Prosper Igboeli; adored grandchildren, Jonathan (Kristen) & Dr. Leah Peres; & special friend, Lyubov Denisenko. Dick was a Purple Heart recipient of the Korean War. He was an avid volunteer in the community. He helped with little league & was a past President of Temple Beth El in Utica. The family wishes to thank the staff of Woodside Manor for the compassion & care they provided to Dick. Funeral Services will be held privately. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5-9 PM at 200 Parkwood Avenue in Brighton. Donations may be made to the Barbara & Richard Peres Scholarship Fund at Utica College in his memory
