To the family and friends of Ruth, I extend my most sincere condolences.
I consider myself blessed t have been a student of Ruth's. She was an exceptional teacher, this is a fact, but she was so much more in addition to that. Her smile was infectious and was always delivered with her warm and welcoming demeanor. Ruth was a safe , non-judgemental, comforting and wise woman. If I were to see her anywhere after graduating, she would not only remember who you were, but would add her own remembrances of something uniquely personal between us.
I thank you Ruth.Your kind and comforting ways made a huge impact in my life and on how I've lived my life.
Thank you "Mrs. Bloom."
You will be missed by many.

Sue,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I have many memories of Home Economics classes at Brighton, especially sewing. I made many shirt dresses based on what I learned in her class. May her memory always be for a blessing to you.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Bloom. I loved her home economics class when I was in the middle school.

I fondly remember Mrs. Bloom teaching me how to always clean up as you go in the kitchen. Contrary to my mom's just pile it up and clean up later; which always ended up my job. Mrs. Bloom taught me so many things that became lifelong skills. May her memory be a blessing to your family. Paulette Geller
