Obituary of Anita Friedman

Passed away on July 27, 2013 at 81 years old. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Milton; devoted children, Susan (Michael) Harf, Alan (Fantyna) Friedman and Carol (Eric) Haun; grandchildren, Isaiah (Dana), Julian, Lindsey, Rachel and Alexis; siblings, Gloria Berkowitz, Jewel (Edward) Littenberg and Aaron Goldstein; nieces, nephews and a community of friends. Predeceased by sister Betty (Lou) Berman, brother-in-law William Berkowitz, and sister-in-law Kay Goldstein. Anita will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed her many years of employment at the City of Rochester in the Office of Economic Development. The family wishes to thank the Jewish Home, Rochester General Hospital, and the Leo Center For Caring for the wonderful care they provided. Graveside Services will be held on TUESDAY, July 30th, at 1 PM in Britton Road Cemetery (Click for a Map to the Cemetery). The family will receive friends at the Jewish Home of Rochester (2021 Winton Road South Click for a Map to the Jewish Home) from 3 to 5 PM on Tuesday and will continue at the home of Susan and Michael Harf at 35 Whitestone Lane on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM (Click for a map to the house). Visitation

The family will receive friends at the Jewish Home of Rochester from 3 to 5 PM on Tuesday and will continue at the home of Susan and Michael Harf at 35 Whitestone Lane, Brighton on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM.
