Dear Helen, Howard and Family,
I had the opportunity to meet your father only a couple times. But, through Helen, I've come to know him. I'm struck by your father's courage and faithfulness. Having survived the Holocaust and the loss of his family, he embraced life, found your mom and started a new life and family in a new country. He kept his faith too. In my view that's heroism. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss and sorrow.
