Stewart & Steve, Aunt Dorothy was my most favorite Aunt in the whole world. I tried to reach Aunt Dorothy about a week ago and the phone was disconnected, so I did a Google search and this how I found out she was no longer with us. I always loved my time with your mother both in Rochester and in Florida. Dorothy was not only my most favorite Aunt but also a very close friend. To all of Dorothy's Family I will never be able to think about our visits to Rochester to see my sister Kathleen without remembering Gordy and Dorothy. They were my nephew Michael's Jewish grandparents. I remember Michael saying one day to Kathleen that Nana and are Papa must be Jewish because they were old like Dorothy and Gordy. I had many oppotunities to visit with your mom over the years at all the George celebrations and always loved our talks. she was truly a lovely lady. I regret that I never met any of you, but felt I must send this note to light a candle for your mom Sincerly Peg Riedy

From the moment I met Scott's beloved Aunt Dorothy in 1984, I knew I met someone special. Her warmth and charm shone through immediately. I always appreciated her kind words, her wit, her interest in my life and my family's well-being. Aunt Dorothy was always happiest when surrounded by her large and loving family, which was often. I cherish the memories of her loving and caring words, which were always included in a birthday card or holiday note. Her loving and caring actions were always in great supply! Love and support to my Aunt Millie and the legion of cousins who will gather in Aunt Dorothy's memory to celebrate her life.
