Obituary of Martin Breitkopf

January 10, 2017 at the age of 90, predeceased by his parents Samuel & Bessie Laboff Breitkopf, his wife Shirley Wallace, brother Irving M, and grandchildren Stephanie Breitkopf & Benjamin Chernoff. Martin is survived by his nephew Stanley J (Lona Carr) Breitkopf & niece Barbara (Charles) Chernoff & their families. He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester & was an Army veteran of WWII. After the war he graduated from Ohio State University & earned his law degree from George Washington University. He lived in Washington, DC & Philadelphia, PA where he worked for the Social Security Administration. After retiring in 1984 he & Shirley traveled throughout Europe. Martin’s passions were photography & classical music, especially Gustav Mahler.
 

Services were held privately in White Haven Memorial Park.
