Obituary of Benjamin Umoff

Benjamin Umoff "Uncle Ben" Irondequoit: Passed away August 8, 2009, at age 99. Predeceased by his wife, Belle. He is survived by his son, Lawrence; granddaughter, Laura & a great- granddaughter, nieces & nephews, including special nephew Jack & Marge Goldstein. Ben was a foreman for many years at Hickey Freeman, later opening his own store called B&B Mens & Boys Wear in Charlotte, and was a longtime member of the Gideon Lodge. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 11 AM in Britton Road Cemetery (Click for a Map to the Cemetery). Following the funeral, the family will receive friends at 22 Rhinecliff Dr., Brighton (Click for a Map to the Home) on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM.
