Obituary of George G. Adler

George G. Adler Pittsford: Passed way on October 23, 2015 at age 77. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Elaine L. Adler; parents, Edward & Erna Adler & brother, Jack Adler. Survived by his wife, Peggy Cherkasky; children, Libby Adler & David (Flavia Nobay) Adler; grandchildren, Jose, Natalie, Elias & Mia; sister, Judy (Mitchell) Rothstein; sister-in-law, Barbara (Donald) Grandaw & many dear friends. George's family escaped Nazi Germany when he and his sister were young children. He grew up in Boston, moving to Rochester at the end of High School. He started his career as a Social Studies Teacher and transitioned to a Public School Administrator. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 1 PM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd.). Click here for directions.
