Obituary of Janis Damico

Passed away on June 17, 2016, at the age of 70. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Sally (Ruskin) Rockowitz. Survived by her husband of 30 years, Jim Damico; her children, Susan (Mike) Mortillaro and Harry Labate; step-children, James (Cheryl) Damico and Rose Maree Damico; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Sanford Rockowitz; sister, Carol (Phil) Camelio; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Janis was a loving daughter, mother, wife and grandmother. Those who knew her cherished her beautiful smile and warm sense of humor. She loved nothing better than to cook dinner for friends and family. Funeral Services will be held on SUNDAY at 10 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel (3325 Winton Road South). Internment, Riverside Cemetery. The family will sit Shiva on Sunday from 3 – 6 PM and Monday from 2 – 5 PM at 288 Mill Road in Greece. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Janis' memory.
