My condolences to the family for the loss of one so full of life. May you find comfort in God’s promise of a time to come when he will undo the ravages of death (Revelation 21:4) and those in God’s memory will be resurrected. (John 5:28,29). But even now may you find the comfort and the strength God can supply to endure through this most difficult time. -2 Corinthians 1:3,4

My heart is broken with the news of Howie's death. My childhood is filled with memories of Howie from dancing in Mrs. Kravitz's 4th grade class, basketball at the JCC in middle school, to seeing each other at Ohio State when I went to visit. Although we lost touch as we got older, Howie will always be a treasured part of my childhood and my life. Anyone who knew Howie knows their life is better because he was in it.
Sending my love and prayers back to Rochester where my heart will always be.

As children, Howard was a big presence in my life. He was always a friendly boy, smart and fun. Although we drifted apart as we got older, he remained, in my eyes, a nice guy, the boy next door (or in my case the boy two streets over), kind and caring. My heart hurts for his family and all those whose lives he touched. May you Rest In Peace Howie, you really were a good guy.

I was fortunate enough to have Howard (and Andrea) in as couple programs at the JCC in our early years. Howard was a very talented, respectful and fun-loving kid, who didn't make those of lesser ability feel slighted. May his memory always be for a blessing, and please accept my profound condolences.
