Shelly, Ed, Rhoda, Norma, Hilda, and all the many who are grieving, please accept my heartfelt condolences upon the loss of Arthur. While at the Jewish Home, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to speak with him one-on-one for some time on one occasion. He spoke so fondly of his family for whom he clearly felt great love and pride, and he impressed me as a particularly kind and gentile man. I was honored to assist him back to his room on a few occasions following Friday evening Shabbot services by Rabbi Katz, who I sensed held a special fondness for him. I know his passing will leave a great void.

Ed, Shelly, Rhoda & Hilda: so sorry to learn of Mr. Long's passing. I would see your dad and Rhoda every day at the Jewish Home while my father was there. I was deeply impressed with the hard work Arthur did for Temple Beth David and will always remember him to be a very nice and kind man who obviously cared immensely for his family. Please accept my condolences. Take care, - spider

Shelly, Brian,
I am sorry for your loss but remember good times with your dad, especially when we were in the pool and he would bring refreshments to us.
I appreciated his kindness to my mom, Paula, when she was still on Leland. She always had wonderful things to say about your dad.
You have a father to be very proud of.

How do I start... my dad was the most honest and probably righteous man I ever knew... He loved to tell you the time..... not 5:00, but 5:02.. and restaurants and dinners always started out with" should we start with the best looking or the youngest.... so many things we will miss and our whole family has been blessed with dad in our lives.. we miss you and pray that you can " see" heaven and be at peace
