Obituary of Paul Pearl
Paul Pearl of Pittsford New York, died on January 3, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in his 91st year. He was born on October 7th, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Tillie & Max Pearl. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene D. (Levy) Pearl, and his loving children, Margery Pearl Gurnett and Daniel Pearl (Shelagh Ellman-Pearl), as well as his loving granddaughter Lily Pearl.
Paul attended City College in Manhattan. He was an army veteran of World War II. In 1952, he married Arlene Levy, after she proposed to him and together they had two children. He made every day of his wife's life a treasure that she will cherish forever. He was very proud of his wife and his family; he loved them very much & will be dearly missed by them.
As co-owner and proprietor of the Pearl Desk Company, on Barclay St., in lower Manhattan, he was integral in the success of the business. He was valued by his clients for his warmth and integrity.
Paul had a wonderful sense of humor, adored classical music, and loved telling stories to his friends and family. He was an avid player of golf and chess.
Funeral Services will be held privately. The family will receive guests at 9 Caversham Woods, in Pittsford, New York on WEDNESDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Click for a Map to the house
