Obituary of Rona L. Roth

Rona Roth (Hochhausser) Passed away peacefully in her husband's arms on July 30, 2015 at the age 67 of after a 3 year valiant fight against brain cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Leo & Ethel Hochhauser. Survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Mel; loving sons, Derrick (Caryn) of Layfayette, CA & Justin (Jill) of McLean, VA; grandchildren, aleb, Ella & Brayden; sister Mina Hochhauser, half-sisters Charlene Strauss, Dovi Goldberg & half-brother Eric Dubak; sister-in-law Sharon Martin & brother-in-law Howard Roth; & several nieces, nephews & cousins. Rona was a graduate of Brighton High School. Rona got her BS in teaching in 1984 from Florida International University in Miami & specialized in helping children with reading problems. Rona had a smile that we will always remember & that would light up a room. Funeral Services will be held on SUNDAY, August 2, 2015 at 1 PM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, Inc. located at 3325 Winton Road South. Click here for a map to the funeral home.
