Rick was my friend from the first time we meet back in the early 1980s. It was my privilege to know his daughters, brother and the people around Rick that all loved him. We shared good times and bad together and throughout and forever will remain friends.

Rick was a good friend. And he was the first person I ever met who had read the whole Bible. He loved the book of Isaiah. I once had the pleasure to read this verse to him: “Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Rick’s response: “Wow!” I trust that Rick has now mounted up with wings like an eagle. God bless you Rick! You were a treasure, and it was my honor to know you and call you “friend”.
