My Sincere Sympathy to Sid and the wonderful family of Lois and Sid Markus, who she loved and cherished in the decade + that I have known her. Lois was a very giving person, always excited about new ways to create and bring happiness to all of us. Several years ago I had the pleasure of talking about and doing an art project with Lois at the Elementary School in Irondequoit where she shared her great talents with the children that so loved to be with her. Lois was my volunteer in the Creative Arts Room at the Jewish Home of Rochester for the well over a decade, bringing an uplifting "Quality of Life" to everyone she touched. She always had the wonder and excitement of a child and the it was a pleasure to be with her for so many years. Lois loved life and her mate Sid was always by her side with his love and devotion - She will always been remembered for the wonderful contributions she has made to so many live - W

Dear Family, I taught school with Lois at Rogers School for many years. She helped me in the Resource Room with children who had learning problems. Lois gave of herself, was patient and kind to everyone. She used her intelligence to bring out the best in her pupils and showed love to all. She will be remembered by many teachers and pupils. With love, Bev Stokes

Today I am at a loss. For over forty five years I ran my fingers through her hair. We always had a few good laughs. Her every breath was her loving and devoted family. The only thing that got her through each tough day that she endured over the past several years. I will miss her.
