When I found out about Lances passing away, we had just spoken on the phone. I have known Lance for many years. He helped me with the loss of my mother. Lance always looked at the bright side of things in life. He spoke very highly of his family, friends, and coworkers all the time. His laughter and compasion for what he did for a living will be with all of us.

I was so sorry to hear about Lance. He was a CIT in Cayuga at CSL when I was the Unit Head. Such a positive person with a "can do" attitude. We can all learn a lot about life from him.

It's impossible to estimate the value of Lance's life when considering what value he brought to the lives of others: his family, his friends, and those he served with absolute devotion. Those people are his legacy, his commitment to those he loved. We will miss that commitment, along with the love and the laughter he brought to so many of our lives...how blessed we've been to have known him!

My deepest condolences to the Levy family. I have such fond memories of Lance over the years at CSL. Bunkmates for at least a couple years, plus many more years shared at that special place on Seneca Lake. Lance always had his amazing smile and laugh. I've seen Lance only a few times over the past 25+ years, yet each time it seemed like only days had passed since the last time. His genuine warmth and love of life is very special. May his memory be a blessing for all those who loved Lance.

My thoughts and prayers are with Lance's family right now. I had the pleasure of knowing him through the RAC spinning classes. Whenever I came in to class, he would insist I sit next to him in the front row. He had a wonderful personality and a contagious smile that made you smile back. I am deeply going to miss him there.
