I used to play with the Oakdale gang but didn't live there. My heart aches for her family and especially for "Barbie" who I see frequently. I am glad the suffering is over.

I, too, was part of the Oakdale gang, and a neighbor of Linda's since we were 3 years old through high school. I will miss Linda, her smile, her upbeat self, and all she has done to keep us together since we left Oakdale and beyond.

Linda was a treasured member of the Learning Development Center family at RIT. A woman of insight and wisdom, she impacted the lives of hundreds of students as teacher and mentor. I will always remember her for her warmth, spunk, and integrity. We will miss her.
