Oseroff, Eileen (Shatz)

(Michele) Oseroff, Dee (Robert Varnell) Oseroff-Varnell grandchildren, Aaron Varnell, Nathan Oseroff, Hannah Varnell, Sarah Oseroff, Laurel Varnell & Rebecca Varnell brother, Phillip (Natalie Marshall) Shatz her beloved extended family and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Neil Oseroff foster daughter, Connie Boyd and sister, Dorothy Shatz Lonergan.
Eileen was an active member of the Smith Club, especially the yearly Tour of Homes to raise
scholarship monies for local women. She enjoyed the outdoors, digging in her garden, skiing locally and out West and sailing here on her favorite lake, Lake Canandaigua, where she and her husband maintained a home as well as membership in the Canandaigua Yacht Club. An accomplished Artist, she channeled her love of art by being one of the original group of Docents at the Memorial Art Gallery and especially enjoyed showing the delights of art by leading guided tours for school children. There was no task too tough for her to handle, usually using a very direct approach. She was a dynamic, tough minded, full speed ahead woman, who knew how to handle situations yet was remarkably tactful.
