I have many fond memories of birthday parties for Joan at the Farm on Scottsville-Chili Road. My mother always made me wear a dress and we (Joyce Marks, Gloria Sidoti, Gail Beyor) all wanted to play in the barn with all the barn cats and watch your Dad milk the cows. Your mom always managed to find me something to wear so I could join everyone else in the fun. She always went out of her way to make sure we all had fun (and plenty of food)! Every time I drive by the Farm I smile remembering those good times. Thank you Kitty Fisher for being a part of my childhood!

To Gary, Joan(Ray),& David, I send my deepest sympathy regarding the loss of you beloved mother. She was admired and loved by so many. She was a bright spot to Todd and I when she came into the Hair Station to get her hair cut and styled. She made our day! She was a real "lady" which was so admired. She appreciated and loved her children. They were her life. You can be proud of the relationship you had with your mom and how you were always there for her. We loved her and will miss her. She is Heavens gain and our loss...but we will all hold happy memories of Kitty. Gary Todd and I know you the best of the siblings, and please know how wonderful you were to your mom. See you soon. (Sorry I could not pay my respects in person, but my thoughts and prayers are of you all during this difficult time. If I can be of any help please call on me.)

I had the plessure of meeting Kitty on her first day at the Advent House and twice thereafter. She was a delightful and enjoyable lady. Upon returning from vacation I heard the sad news that Kitty had passed on. I had hoped to see her at least one more time. My sincere condolences to her family. All the good memories you have will keep her alive within you. Take care. Sincerely, Diane Wagner

Dear Gary and Joan, It was truly our privilege to care for your Mother. She taught us many lessons, especially the importance of being true to yourself while maintaining your own dignity.

I am so sorry for your loss my mom would've been around your beloved mom's age. Although I didn't know Kitty, her name struck a chord. It brought me back to my childhood and the sweet memories of nursery rhymes, specifically: Lucy Locket lost her pocket, Kitty Fisher found it. Nothing in it, nothing in it but the binding 'round it. I hope her memory will be a comfort to you.
