Obituary of Sidney Metzger

Sidney May Wilson Metzger Sidney May Wilson Metzger passed on February 28th of complication from Leukemia at age 77. She was predeceased by her husband, Irwin. She is survived by her brother Robert; sister Merle; children Jed (Sabrina), Jane (Mike) & Jonathan (Jeanne); & 7 loving grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her dynamic group of friends and extended family. Sidney will be remembered for her social activism, advocating for reproductive rights and as a founding member of Community Health Network. Memorial Service will be held at Temple Sinai located at 363 Penfield Road at 3:30PM on SUNDAY March 2nd. Click here for a map to the Temple. The family will be receiving at the Metzger Residence on SUNDAY following the service & on MONDAY from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center (URMC).
