Obituary of Mordechai Montag

Mordechai "Monty" Montag Passed away on September 6, 2012 at age 86. Predeceased by his parents, Issac & Esther Montag & brother, Joseph. His is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Harriet; sons, Avram (Linda), Jonathan (Annika), Ethan (Marjorie) & Benjamin (Jackie) Montag; 11 grandchildren; sister, Ora (Arie) Sirota; sister-in-law, Yaffa Montag; several nieces & nephews. Monty served in the Haganah in the Israeli 1948 War of Independence. The family wishes to thank the staff of 3-SW & the Recreational Therapy Dept. of the Jewish Home as well as Lifetime Care Hospice for their wonderful care of Monty. Funeral Services were held in New Montefiore Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 224 Vernon Place on TUESDAY thru THURSDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM & FRIDAY 2-4 PM.
