Obituary of Carole Nahmias

Carole Sadoff Nahmias Irondequoit: Passed away, June 3, 2010. Predeceased by parents, Louis & Frances Hartman, husbands, Herbert Sadoff of Buffalo and David Nahmias of Rochester. She is survived by her loving daughters, Elisa Miller and Katherine (Craig) Sadoff-Herrick; beloved grand¬daughters, Shana & Vanessa Miller and Veronica Herrick; devoted cousins, Cheryl (Steve) Rachel, Daniel & David Ainspan of Albany; dear companion, Robert Angst and many treasured friends. Carole taught English at Pal-Mac Middle, East High and Hillel Schools and computer skills at SeniorNet. She enjoyed sailing, photography, writing and was a flautist with The New Horizons Band. Carole’s zest for life, encouraging words and unending optimism touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grammy, valued friend and dedicated teacher. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, June 6th at 11:00 AM in the Britton Road Cemetery (Click for a Map to the Cemetery). A period of mourning will be observed at 25 Oakbend Lane, Irondequoit (Click for a Map to the house), Sunday & Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Tuesday 2-4 PM.
