Grace Edith (Berkowitz) Priceman
Born in Cambridge, NY on May 6, 1928 to Anna and Joseph Berkowitz. Married to Harvey Louis Priceman (dec.) May 29, 1949 and moved to Rochester. Died peacefully in Fairfax, Virginia on March 16, 2014 under the care of Hospice at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law.
Grace leaves her loving children Joan Leslie Hunn (Randy), Ann Beth Priceman (Connie Schartz) and Alan Jay Priceman, brother Jack Berkowitz (Selma-dec.), sisters Dorothy Maneri (Chuck-dec.), Bea Rosenberg (dec.) (Al-dec.), sister-in-law Anita Bauman (Dave-dec.), granddaughter Olivia Novak (Brett), grandson Zachary Hunn, nieces and nephews Judy (Harold "Zass") Zassenhaus, Sande Weiskopf (Robbie), Amy Schaefer (Marc), Laura Rosenberg, Diane Rosenberg, Scott Bauman, Lori Davis (Scott), many great nieces and nephews and good friends.
Grace worked and retired from Rochester Telephone. She loved playing mah jongg, socializing, volunteering weekly at the Jewish Home, eating out and just being with her family and friends. She stayed connected with her Rochester friends and long distance family with frequent telephone calls once she moved to Virginia. In Rochester, she was an active member of Congregation Etz Chaim.
In Virginia she joined daughter Joanie in her many activities, including services at Congregation Adat Reyim, and the company of her friends who so kindly accepted her presence everywhere. She enjoyed participating in the Annandale Adult Day Health Care Center's daily program. She was loved by many whose lives she touched and will be missed..
