Obituary of Irving Hollander

Died on April 11, 2013 at age 88. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marion (Kane) Hollander; his loving children, Susan (Jerry) Silverstein, Claire (Joel) Sigal & Steven (Alice) Hollander; 8 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his 3 brothers, Abe, Charles & Kenneth. Irv was a WWII Veteran, a graduate of the University of Rochester, Columbia University School of Optometry and practiced optometry in Rochester for 33 years. Graveside services will be held today, Friday, 11:30 AM at White Haven Memorial Park (please meet at main entrance) View Map. A period of mourning will be observed Friday ONLY at the Jewish Home of Rochester View Map from 1-3 PM.
