Obituary of Samuel Adams Leonard

Samuel Adams Leonard On May 12, 2013, Sam unexpectedly passed away at age 26. He was a 2005 graduate of Honeoye Falls-Lima High School and was living in Fortuna, CA. Predeceased by his grandfather, Arthur Scheier & uncle, Ephraim Scheier. Sam's energetic & creative spirit will lovingly be remembered by his parents, Ann & Bruce; brother, Ian; sister, Emily; grandparents, Marjorie Scheier, Richard & Barbara Leonard; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; his loving partner, Kelly McGittigan & a long list of caring friends. Sam's generous heart & unique sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. His creative talents were shared with others through his rhythmic drumming & his nature photography which was most recently exhibited in Arts Alive in Garberville, CA. Sam will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Temple Sinai (363 Penfield Rd.). Click here for directions to the temple. Interment will be held privately in White Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9 PM & Sunday from 2-5 PM at 77 Partridge Hill in Honeoye Falls.
