Phillys's granddaughter, Rebecca, has been my best friend for fifteen years. In that time I have come to know and love Rebecca's immediate and extended family. We often joked about the similarities between our respective Jewish Grandmas, but I know from Rebecca's telling and my own acquaintance that Grandma Phyllis was one of a kind. Her nature and nurture helped make another petite, brilliant, compassionate woman who she is today, and that is my best friend in this world. Grandma Phyllis, I know you're up there. Please look up my Grandma Betty. You have similar fashion sense. Rebecca told me how when you made a bubble bath you poured the whole bottle in so it was really bubbly. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to steal that trick when I'm a Grandma, too. Godspeed and rest in peace, Phyllis. Rebecca, Rachel, Freda, Melissa, Steve, Zeke, Gabe, Carolyn, Noah and Moses, my thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

This very wonderful Woman I meet about 30 years ago when she was working with couples in group setting. I worked with her for three years once a week. She not only inspired me and was a role model, she changed my life. Because of her I am the person I am today. I will never forget her kindness and deep ability to truly listen, her incredible strength. I was blessed to walk a path with this great Soul who helped so many. I am a Great-Grandmother and Strength to My own family because of the way she guilded and taught and sometimes pushed me on the road to a happy life. She will be greatly missed on this Earth. May all that is good and Holy guide her Soul to Light and Her Highest self. I hope that in the days ahead Dear Melissa and Carolyn that the tremendous good your Mother did in her lifetime will grat you Peace and Comfort.

Phyllis was a wonderful woman who listened to me and tried to help me for about six years. When I was not able to pay the complete fee to her, she allowed me to come many times for just the price of the co-pay.
