Obituary of Jordan Rosen Cohen

After a long and heroic fight with a chronic illness, passed away at home on March 7, 2018, at the age of 26. Predeceased by his grandparents, Albert & Jean Rosen and Merrill & Hermine Cohen; aunt, Jackie Rosen Corbett; and uncle, Michael A. Rosen. Survived by his parents, Gary B. Cohen and Pamela K. Rosen; twin brother, Alexander R. Cohen; aunts, Vicki Rosen (Brad Cole), Ellen (John) Elwell and Linda Rosen; uncles, Carl (Shirley) Cohen and Ron (Lisa) Rosen; and many cousins and dear friends.

Jordan was a caring and sensitive young man who loved both music and animals. Jordan swam on Penfield High School's Varsity Swim Team and played cello in the Penfield High School Orchestra. Jordan's warm smile, pleasant personality and good sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY (March 12, 2018) at 10 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel (3325 Winton Road South).

Burial to follow at Britton Road Cemetery (188 Britton Road).

The family will sit Shiva at 1279 Whalen Road in Penfield on MONDAY from 7-9 PM and TUESDAY from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to either Lollypop Farm (99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450), Pet Pride of New York, Inc. (7731 Victor Mendon Road, Victor, NY 14564), or Jewish Family Services - Mental Health Counseling (441 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607) in Jordan's memory.
