You, I am sure remember me. Arline Sanders, from Rochester, N. Y. Seymour and husband Eli were such close friends for so long and he will always be in my heart. Your mother, Sylvia, was so special, and we spoike only about once a year on the phone, since I live in Lincoln, California, which is North California. I had tried to call your Mom, and found out the phone was disconnected. I could not find her. Finally I claled Hilda. Now I receive the obituraies daily, and found this one, for my dear friend and wonderful loving person, your Mom. What memories we have. so many good ones. I watched Neil grow up, from baby hood on. Love to you Neil, and my deepest sympathies to you and love. Arline Sanders

I have the fondest memories of the Stillers. I grew up with Neil, and Seymour & Sylvia (Mr. & Mrs. Stiller to me...) were both very gentle people, and gently funny. I could always feel the love and joy in that house. It's honor to the parents in the character of their children, and Neil honors Sylvia & Seymour well. I remember Sylvia most fondly when I first got to Rochester and was her underwriter at the Aetna Insurance in 1971 and she was delightful,open and totally candid on what ever she was working on.I subsequently ran into her and found out that she lived but a few blocks away on St Paul.I would run into her on her march down St Paul and she always was extremely friendly and continued her openness approach to life.She was a joy and inspiration to me.I will never forget her and her approach to life. dearest neil and (sylvia) - i don't know if you remember me, but in the 1960s i was married to phil baker & lived on ridge road. sylvia, seymour and i were devoted friends for many years - our boys were close in age and we had many special times together. although we lost touch after i moved to california, i have never forgotten your mom & dad, neil, and certain events in life triggered luving thoughts of them from time to time. your mom was such a nurturing, luving and caring person - one of the best, and your dad, although sometimes ill, was an absolute, devoted treasure to his family. he never failed to amuse me with his quick wit! i am so saddened to hear of your mom's death..i know you will always have caring memories, as i will, to help you through this difficult time. with much affection, samantha baker olenik, palm desert, CA
