BARUCH DAYAN EMET..Sylvia and I send our condolences to Phyllis,Andy, Mitchell, Nancy and grandchildren..
Alec and I go back some 60 years..he was and I am a child Holocaust survivor, we both served in the US Army, we both graduated Rochester Institute of Tech, we both married while students at RIT,we both have three children..and we both lectured on the Holocaust...Alec and I met in 1951 in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD where we took our basic Army training, although Alec reminded me that we had met earlier in New York City...Alec also reminded me that when I once returned to camp from a weekend pass, I found Alec standing guard duty in a heavy rain, and I gave him a turkey leg which I brought for him from New York...Alec was sent to Germany and I was sent to Korea..after the war we were reunited and both enrolled into the Printing School at RIT..throughout the years we maintained
our friendship..
I will miss you my dear friend Alec..rest in peace.
