Dear family,
I was so sorry to see Marvin's name in the paper today. He was such a sweet man. I used to see him walking to the bank past my shop or I'd run into him at the bank and we'd catch up on things.
I hope you are all coping well under the circumstances. Unfortunately I'm not sure whether I will get to see you tomorrow or while you're sitting shiva as I'm having some pain issues. But please know you are all in my heart and thoughts at this very sad time. Our family just got a little smaller.
